Lower Secondary

AMIS admit students for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) as well as the IGCSE students. Our blend of GES and British curriculum enables our students to transition confidently from the secondary school to the tertiary level. This approach provide the needed global exposure and develops skills and confidence our students will need to thrive in both their personal and academic journeys as well as into the dynamic workplace.

We have two pathways at our secondary level;

  1. Ghana Education Service Curriculum (GES) – (BECE and WASSCE)
  2. Cambridge Curriculum ( Checkpoint, IGCSE, A-Level)

Our Secondary department focus on the quality of effective education and enhancement of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M).

BECE is the examination taken by Junior High Students after studying for a period of three years, after six years of primary school education. Successful candidates gain admission into the Senior High School.
